Bhavna Vaswani and the Sixth Sense: Separating Trivia from Fact
Resolving casting claims requires reviewing the authoritative sources: the studio release ledger and the American Film Institute (AFI) catalog. The Sixth Sense carries a compact, highly focused ensemble cast.
Bruce Willis leads the film as child psychologist Dr. Malcolm Crowe, alongside Haley Joel Osment as Cole Sear. Toni Collette earned an Academy Award nomination for her portrayal of Lynn Sear, while Olivia Williams anchored the supporting tier as Anna Crowe. Key minor roles went to Donnie Wahlberg as the disturbed former patient Vincent Grey, and Mischa Barton as the tragic Kyra Collins.
Beyond this core, the end credits enumerate background schoolteachers, hospital personnel, and funeral attendees. Bhavna Vaswani's name is completely absent from the official end titles registered with the Writers Guild of America and SAG-AFTRA. Studio distribution sheets issued by Buena Vista Pictures carry no mention of Vaswani in speaking parts, stand-in rosters, or listed background groups.
