Can You Move the Dog Bowl in Stardew Valley? Layout Rules and Robin's Menu Explained
Relocating your dish takes less than an in-game hour once you reach the mountain workshop. Robin operates her counter from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM every day except Tuesday, when she exercises at Caroline's house, and Friday, when she leaves early for the Stardrop Saloon.
Walk up to Robin's counter and select Construct Farm Buildings. Cycle through the menu until you see the row of interactive utility icons at the bottom right of the screen. Click the Move Buildings button (represented by four intersecting directional arrows). This switches your screen to an overhead management view of your farm.
Hover your cursor directly over the dog bowl. The structure will highlight green. Click once to pick it up, pan the camera across your acreage, and click on an unobstructed 2x2 grid to drop it into place. The change takes effect instantly. If your dog was asleep beside the bowl when you walked into town, the animal updates its pathfinding logic automatically upon your return.
