Chronology of a Crisis: Day-by-Day Timeline of Hyunjin's 2021 Hiatus and Return
Without teaser trailers, advance press releases, or countdowns, JYP Entertainment unveiled the digital single "Mixtape : OH" at midnight on June 26, 2021. The music video featured all eight members, opening with a slow, contemplative sequence that framed Hyunjin looking out an open window.
The emotional weight was palpable. Hyunjin sang the track's opening lines: "I know, I know, I know I'm still a fool." The lyrics explored feelings of awkwardness, vulnerability, and longing to reconnect. Shortly after the video went live, JYP Entertainment confirmed his full reintegration: "During his break, Hyunjin reflected on himself while taking part in volunteer work and donations. Starting from July, he will join Stray Kids' official activities." The track went on to hit Number 1 on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart, marking the group's first chart-topper on that tally.
