Fact-Check: Did Teen Titans Go Actually Air the Infamous Beast Boy Driving Scene?
Q1: Did Cartoon Network ever ban or pull the Beast Boy driving scene from syndication?
Cartoon Network never pulled or censored the sequence because the network never produced or broadcast it. The claim that the scene was banned by television standards committees is an urban legend concocted to explain why the clip cannot be found on official streaming services.
Q2: What song plays in the viral Beast Boy driving phonk edits?
The most widespread versions use slowed and bass-boosted remixes of Brazilian phonk tracks, notably "Montagem - Pr Funk" and selections by artists like Kordhell. Different iterations rotate through the trending phonk track of the week.
Q3: Which official Teen Titans Go! episode actually shows Beast Boy driving?
Beast Boy drives during Season 1, Episode 7 ("Driver's Ed"), though he drives a crude cardboard training prop rather than the car seen in the meme. He also handles various makeshift vehicles in background gags across later seasons, none of which feature the viral clip's manic visual style.
