Fake Bk Promo Codes Vs. Real Savings: Fact-Checking 2026 Coupon Sites
We ran an audit across five major coupon aggregator portals, testing 42 unique promo codes claiming active status. We attempted to apply each code on the official web portal and mobile app across three metro markets.
The result was an outright failure rate: zero out of 42 third-party text codes applied successfully at checkout.
In every instance, the platform returned errors stating the code was either expired, unrecognized, or invalid for digital checkout. The vast majority were old text strings from short-lived corporate marketing campaigns run years prior, or recycled combinations generated by algorithms.
Real digital coupon codes exist, but they do not float freely across generic coupon directories. Legitimate discounts arrive either as dynamic single-use alphanumeric tokens inside user app accounts, or as standardized four-digit Point of Sale (POS) codes printed on regional inserts.
