From Early Cameos to Leading Roles: the Complete Michael Cimino Screen Timeline
Parallel to live-action television, Cimino expanded into voice acting. Created by Dan Povenmire (Phineas and Ferb), Disney’s animated series Hamster and Gretel cast Cimino as Kevin Grant-Gomez, the un-powered, supportive older brother to a super-powered little sister and her pet hamster. The role demanded fast, slapstick voice delivery, which Cimino handled with energy across multiple seasons.
Broadening his dramatic portfolio further, Cimino joined the ensemble cast of Motorheads, an adrenaline-charged coming-of-age drama series developed for Amazon Prime Video. Centered on car culture, family mechanics, and social divides in a rust-belt Pennsylvania town, the project paired Cimino alongside Ryan Phillippe and Nathalie Kelley. The role marked a distinct departure from glossy teen dramedies into darker, street-level ensemble storytelling.
