How to Delete a Pinterest Account on Mobile and Desktop: Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Business users encounter an added layer of administrative complexity. If your account runs active advertising campaigns or carries commercial credentials, you cannot discard it with standard consumer steps until you reconcile your balances.
To delete a Pinterest business account, first clear your ledger. Access the Pinterest Ads Manager interface. Pause all running ad groups, terminate active promotions, and verify that all accrued billing thresholds are settled. Pinterest will block deletion requests if your balance shows unsettled ad expenditures.
If you want to keep your personal boards while discarding the commercial dashboard, you do not need to delete the entire account. Use the Convert to personal account feature under account management settings. This strips out analytics dashboards, catalogs, and ad toolbars while preserving your saved images.
If your objective remains a total exit, settle your billing, convert or detach any multi-user employee permissions, and select Delete account inside the business settings panel. Just like personal profiles, business accounts require two-factor confirmation and an email verification click.
