Nine Inch Nails 2026 Tour Dates & Live Footage: Inside the 'Peel It Back' Experience
While the standard Peel It Back tour dates emphasized classic industrial power, the band took a sharp detour into electronic club territory at Coachella in April. Performing under the alternate billing "Nine Inch Noize," Reznor and Ross reworked their live catalog through acid house filters, extended four-on-the-floor breakdowns, and heavy modular synth manipulation.
The undeniable highlight of the festival set was an unannounced, blistering cover of Soft Cell's "Sex Dwarf." It confirmed that Reznor is actively testing boundaries, using the Coachella appearance to blur the lines between rock staging and underground rave culture. This alternate identity has prompted fans to speculate which secondary festival dates might receive the standard heavy rock set versus the experimental dance reconfiguration.
