Score Sheets and Screen Gems: the Visual Archive of Romantic Soundtracks Hosted on Dailymotion
The passion for film score preservation is global. Asian television dramas, renowned for their intricate romance drama background music, account for some of the most sought-after files on community platforms. Studio Jiwon's 2019 blockbuster series Crash Landing on You spawned an acclaimed original soundtrack that remains deeply celebrated across online video directories. Archival clips, such as actor Jung Kyung-ho’s memorable cameo opposite lead Son Ye-jin, routinely resurface alongside clean soundtrack edits that let viewers focus on the acoustic piano arrangements.
These television themes frequently escape the screen and find new life in athletic and competitive arenas. Figure skating, in particular, relies heavily on dramatic, emotive music edits. In competition records from the 2024 Novice Canadian Championships and Skate Canada Cup, junior skater Lia Cho delivered a competitive short program set to carefully edited romantic orchestrations, cataloged and hosted on Dailymotion via Skate Canada’s archival stream. When specialized music tracks are documented alongside live choreography, archivists preserve both the musical composition and its wider cultural influence.
