The Complete Deshae Frost Watch Guide: Where to Stream His Movies and Tv Shows
Before securing his badge in network drama, Frost cut his teeth on smaller comedy roles and cult cable projects. His early screen appearances stemmed directly from the local stand-up circuit in California, where he began booking open mics as a young teenager, opening sets for established names like Tiffany Haddish and Faizon Love.
That stage timing helped him catch the eye of television casting scouts, leading to guest work on the Adult Swim series Black Jesus, created by Aaron McGruder and Mike Clattenburg. Set in Compton, the satirical comedy provided an ideal training ground for improvisation and deadpan line delivery. Frost’s early television credits also include appearances on unscripted showcases and youth comedy formats, including an appearance on Snap! and sketches produced for digital distribution networks.
These early jobs proved instrumental. They allowed Frost to develop technical camera discipline, hitting marks, working off multi-camera setups, and adjusting vocal delivery, long before most social media creators attempted to step onto professional studio lots.
