No. The Living Tombstone created the song in 2017 as an independent digital single. The anime’s actual opening themes are "Hyadain no Kakakata☆Kataomoi - C" and "Hyadain no Joujou Yuujou," performed by Hyadain (Kenichi Maeyamada).
Did Kyoto Animation produce a second season of Nichijou?
Kyoto Animation never produced a second season. The initial 2011 run struggled with domestic home video sales despite glowing critical praise. Fans who want to continue the story should turn to Keiichi Arawi's official manga, which returned from hiatus in late 2021 with new chapters.

The entire 26-episode series is available on Crunchyroll in North America and multiple global territories. Physical Blu-ray collections are distributed through regular retail outlets by Crunchyroll and licensed regional distributors.
