Who Is Jeremy Diamond? Faith, Family, Partner Ali Vitali, and Cnn Career Explained
Diamond left Canada for the United States to attend George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He enrolled at the Elliott School of International Affairs, earning a bachelor’s degree in international affairs in 2014. GWU’s proximity to Capitol Hill offered immediate access to the nerve centers of American policy, and Diamond capitalized on it immediately.
He joined The GW Hatchet, the university's award-winning independent student newspaper. Serving as news editor and later sports editor, Diamond broke institutional stories, cut his teeth on investigative features, and honed his ability to work under unforgiving print deadlines. His work at The Hatchet earned him collegiate journalism accolades, including an award from the Society of Professional Journalists.
CNN took notice early. In the summer of 2014, Diamond joined CNN as an intern. Network executives quickly recognized his instincts for breaking news. Within months, he transitioned into a digital reporter role, authoring major political scoops just as the political climate began shifting ahead of the 2016 presidential election cycle.
