The outer thigh panels showed negligible surface breakdown, maintaining their satin sheen without color bleeding. The inner crotch junction told a different story. Small fiber pills began forming along the flatlock seams by wash cycle twelve. While these pills did not compromise structural integrity, they created increased surface drag during movement.
The ankle cuffs and ribbed waistband retained their shape remarkably well. Cheaper alternatives often develop wavy, blown-out elastic after exposure to mechanical drying, but the dense ribbing on FIGS extended sizing items snapped back to baseline measurements without sagging.
